Learn English From Spanish

Acquire English or Spanish because it will take effortless unlike other foreign language.

People usually join language classes to learn English or Spanish or buy books, CDs and DVDs according to their comfortableness. They then put everything together in order to learn that particular language.

The first question that comes to mind is: How long will it take to learn that particular language when we start from scratch? Like if your mother tongue is Spanish and you need to learn English due to some reason, how long it will take you to learn English?

Every learning process needs a techniques and extent amount of efforts. We can conclude that if we are trying to learn English from Spanish, we have to put some extra efforts and follow a meticulously planned approach to learn English.

The basics of the language are the first thing you must learn. You need to learn and understand the set of rules that applies to a particular set of statements. This will involve learning sentence construction and grammar. A good grasp of grammar is necessary so as to form correct and meaningful sentences easily.

The next thing to learn is vocabulary. A sentence can be forced to mean a different thing by a simple use of proper words. For finding the right words when you need them and to speak and write fluently, you need to build your vocabulary. This is as important as learning grammar. Whenever you come across a new word, make it a point to find out its meaning, its synonyms and antonyms and other words related to it. To memorize these words, you can use them in your sentences. This will also help you understand the context in which they can be used in.

After actively working in your reading and writing, you should shift to speaking. Understanding how words are pronounced is important. Learning where to use pauses and terminations in a sentence or between paragraphs is also necessary. Be careful about which words you put stress upon as it can change the whole meaning of a seemingly simple sentence.

Create a setting that helps you in tuning speaking the language. It shouldn't be too difficult for you to find others who want to learn English just like you do. Interact with them and practice along with them. Traditional language classes are best of this purpose as many English learning enthusiasts come together at the same place at these classes.

Finally, don't forget to work your new language with friends and family. If you're not able to get the proper environment, try chat rooms and find people who chat in English. You can request them to chat with you and see if you construct sentences properly, use the right spellings and if they are meaningful. If you can, try voice chat so that you can practice speaking as well. Observe how native English speakers use and pronounce words and try to inculcate the same in yourself as well.
